About us

A platform where youth voices matter

Established to amplify the voices of youth, ZYF provides a dynamic platform where young women and men can engage in leadership, civic participation, advocacy, innovation, and sustainable development.

Recognizing that young people are key drivers of social, economic, and political transformation, ZYF works to strengthen their capacity through education, mentorship, skills development, research, policy dialogue, and community engagement.

We promote inclusive participation, ensuring that all youth—including young women, persons with disabilities, and marginalized groups—have equal opportunities to contribute to the development of Zanzibar.

ZYF collaborates with government institutions, civil society organizations, development partners, academic institutions, and the private sector to design and implement evidence-based programs that respond to the evolving needs and aspirations of young people.
